Government of Chhattisgarh implemented ESMA
The Government of Chhattisgarh has implemented the Essential Services Maintenance Act (ESMA) on April 16, 2021 due to increase in the cases of COVID-19. After the enforcement of the ESMA under the Criminal Procedure 1898 (5 of 1898), any employee related to this order can be arrested without any warrant.
