French National Assembly approves bill making "Ecocide" a crime
The French National Assembly recently approved a bill making "Ecocide" a crime. Under this law, there is a provision of ten years in jail and a fine of 5 million euros (ie US $ 5.4 million) for the offenders. This law will mainly punish those who endanger the environment or commit crimes related to pollution.

In April 2015, French President Emmanuel Macron announced the creation of a civil conference for climate. The purpose of this conference was to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 40% compared to 1990 levels. The convention proposed the idea of making Ecocide a crime. In addition to enacting a law against Ecocide, around 149 resolutions were made at this conference. The convention was launched as a result of the Gillette Johns Crisis. It is also known as the Yellow Waste Movement.

India provides 50 crore rupees to each food park.

World's largest 'Underwater Neutrino Telescope' launched at Lake Baikal
Russian scientists have launched the world's largest underwater neutrino telescope called 'Baikal-GVD (Gigatan Volume Detector) in Baikal, the world's deepest lake in Siberia. The construction of this telescope was started in the year 2016 so that the mysterious fundamental particles called neutrinos can be studied in detail and their possible sources can be determined.
