America agrees to give raw material for corona vaccine
The United States government has decided to lift the export ban on the raw materials needed to manufacture the COVID-19 a vaccine to help India in its fight against the COVID-19 epidemic. US President Joe Biden tweeted, "Just as India helped America at the beginning of the epidemic, and similarly, we are determined to help India at this time of need." Kamala Harris, the Vice-President of the United States, has also spoken of cooperation with India in this crisis period of the Kovid epidemic. Fire in Mizoram forests
Mizoram Chief Minister Zoramthanga had

settlements. He said that no casualty has been reported at the moment. Fire has
been reported in the Mizoram and Lunglei district of its adjoining areas. According

Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke to Mizoram Chief Minister Zoramthanga on Monday to discuss the situation arising out of the fire spread in the jungles of various parts of the state and assured of all possible central assistance. Modi tweeted, "Talked to Mizoram Chief Minister Zoramthanga and took stock of the situation arising out of the fire in the jungles of different parts of the state." He assured all possible help from the Center to deal with this crisis. We wish the people of Mizoram safety and efficiency. "
551 oxygen plants to be built in government hospitals across the country with PM CARES fund
The Modi government has taken a big decision regarding the increasing demand for medical oxygen in the country.
Under this, 551 oxygen plants will be built across the country. These will be
constructed in government hospitals through the PM Cares Fund. The Prime
Minister's Office has informed on 25 April 2021 that, to promote public health
facilities across India, approval of allocation of funds from PM CARES Fund for
the establishment of 551 dedicated pressure swing absorption - PSA Medical
Oxygen Generation Plants. Has been given. The purpose of establishing these
oxygen generation plants in the government hospitals of the district
headquarters is to strengthen the public health system as well as to ensure
that captive oxygen generation facilities are available in each of these
hospitals. This in-house captive oxygen generation facility will prove to be
helpful in meeting the daily medical oxygen needs of all these districts
hospitals.
PM Cares Fund
On 27 March 2020, the Government of India created the PM Cares Fund to deal with Kovid-19. In this, ordinary people can donate according to their wishes. It has four members - Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Home Minister Amit Shah and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. They are responsible for spending this fund.
The government of India has stopped using liquid oxygen for non-medical purposes
On 25 April 2021, the central government
has immediately banned the use of liquid oxygen for any kind of non-medical
purposes. This latest order has been issued by Union Home Secretary Ajay Bhalla
in various regions of India, especially in the national capital Delhi, due to
lack of oxygen for medicine, as the country is in the grip of the current wave
of the COVID-19 epidemic. The Government of India has also instructed the
manufacturing units to maximize their production and make them available to the
government for medical use, amidst an acute shortage of oxygen.
Utilizing its powers under the Disaster Management Act, the Union Home Secretary has directed the governments of the States and Union Territories to ensure that no use of liquid oxygen is allowed for any type of non-medical purposes.
IAF deployed two Mi-17V5 helicopters to extinguish the Mizoram forest fire
On 25 April, the Chief Minister of Mizoram sought help from the Indian Air Force and locals to extinguish this formidable forest fire in Lunglei district and its adjoining areas. On receiving the Chief Minister's request, the Indian Air Force immediately deployed two Mi-17V5 helicopters, equipped with Bambi buckets, to extinguish the forest fires. The Chief Minister later thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Central Government for their prompt assurance and prompt action.
