Update for Overage Candidates

The railway has allowed the candidates who are averaged according to the first notification of CEN 1/2024. In the latest notice, the upper age limit has increased to 33 years from 30. Such candidates can apply for the RRB ALP Vacancy from 31 January onwards.

RRB ALP Vacancies – Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification Required

The primary educational requirement for the RRB ALP position is a Matriculation/SSLC plus ITI/Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in the relevant trade OR Diploma/Degree in Engineering. Aspirants are referred to check the detailed notification for specific trade and stream requirements.

Age Limit

The age limit for applicants is typically between 18 and 33 years, with age relaxations applicable as per government norms. The cut-off date for determining the eligibility criteria is 01 January 2024.
